There is just something wrong with my world, and I don't know what it is. I feel like something is coming that I just know I'm not going to want to deal with.

I was going to do a wishlist thingy, but really? As I have no money, nor any creative skills to make up for that? I can't usually do anything on someone else's list, so why make people feel that they need to do something for mine?

I don't know. I'm in a mood lately. I usually love Christmas but this one is stacking up to be pretty crappy. I hold out no hope of actually getting anything I want this year.

I don't quite know who I thought I was telling my mother to get her life together. After all it's not like mine is anything to be particularly proud of. What exactly is so special about me? I go to work, come home, play on the computer, and sleep. That's it. That's all I do.

My cats are...going insane. George literally peed on me. ON ME. HE SHOOK HIS TAIL ON ME! My cats have never in their entire life ever, EVER sprayed anything, and he just now decides that he wants to do it ON ME? WTF?

I've come the the conclusion that my mother is never going to speak to me again. So I've basically just cut myself off from my entire family, with maybe the exception of my grandmother. Who, I don't know, will probably tell me I was stupid.

My entire house is gross. My bedroom looks like a fucking garbage can. And I think I'm going to run away.

Yup, just run away.

There are a few things that I love about being an American. Let me list them.

1. I love that we have the right to say what we want. Freedom of speech is one reason people flock to our country. It is something not everyone has and that's so wonderful.

2. I love the fact that I have running water, grocery stores, a Taco Bell around the corner, and the ability to have a job that pays for all that. Granted it's not the best job, but it's a job and it pays my bills. I'm not automatically drafted into the army at 18, much like my American born Iranian co-worker would be if he visited his Iranian family. I'm not shot if I wish to protest the current government or their current policies. And best of all? When I turned 18, just out of high school, I got to vote in my very first election. And wow, what a feeling that was. To have a voice in what goes on in this wonderful place I live, to be able to put that sticker on my shirt that says "I voted." So amazing.

Now, I've worked in retail for about 8 years now and I've met some dumbass people. Seriously, stupid people. Just recently, I had a lady tell me that sinuses had nothing to do with her having a stuffy nose. See? Stupid. And some of them? The most educated people you'll ever meet. Doctors and Lawyers and Politicians. People that have more degrees to their name then they can shake a stick at and yet? Can't find the fucking Fiber in a store with an aisle labeled "Fiber".

I have a college degree. Sure, it's just a simple two year degree but it's a degree still. But I've never been what others would consider an educated voter. For the most part, I vote party. There are certain things I'd never like to see happen in this world, and I find that if I vote with one party, I have a greater chance of never seeing that happen.

However, It's been my personal experience that it doesn't matter what kind of education someone has, it doesn't matter how many books you've read, or how many big words you know, if you don't have the common sense to back it up. So to say that "uneducated people" shouldn't be allowed to vote on something "so important"? Makes you sound elitist, bitchy and a poor fucking loser. Good thing we have that freedom of speech, isn't it?

EDIT: This is a response to a friend's post about Prop 8. I don't have a problem with comments, disagreements or agreements, so feel free comment all you like.

Oh, and just for records sake. I voted Obama. In fact, I voted Democrat all the way down. And if I had lived in California? I would have voted against Prop 8. I just don't like people trying to dictate what someone else does or doesn't have the right to do. And if people truly believed in fighting Prop 8? They wouldn't either.

There are days that I really, really long to still be in therapy.

Today would be one of them.

Really? I mean, really? Play a character because you want to play them or don't play them because you've lost interest. Who cares if you get forty hundred comments on them or not.

I've had characters that didn't get any play that I've kept around because I just love playing them and I've had characters that I've dropped even though others loved them.

I like comments as much, if not more, than the next person. But I don't beg and I don't threaten to get them.

And there is a difference between asking a single person to rep to you and demanding an entire community do it.
